ALSRI BOARD MEETING

MINUTES NOVEMBER 16, 2001

I. OLD BUSINESS

10 Year Celebration: Victor will secure the gifts will contain the new logo and commemoration of the 10-year anniversary on it (see below for budget amount).

Emergency Procedures: Victor will bring a draft proposal to the next meeting.

Bank Account: Victor and Stan T. will ensure that the transition is completed after the Sierra Lakes tournament.

II. REPORTS

1. PRESIDENT’S REPORT

None.

2. TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

Rick will e-mail the sign-up duties for Sierra Lakes.

2/11 Cascades, 8am shotgun, $55
4/12 Los Serranos S, 7:30am, $52
6/10 Oak Valley, 1:30pm shotgun, $60
8/23 Rancho Park, 7:30am, $46
10/11 Wilson, 7:30am, $46
12/6 Sierra Lakes, 8am shotgun, $67

All contracts have been secured

3. TREASURER’S REPORT

Club has approx. $2,500 going into the Sierra Lakes tournament.

4. RULES COMMITTEE REPORT

Nothing to report.

5. MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

Dennis will send out follow-up letters for 2002 membership this month and collect any remaining dues at Sierra Lakes.

To date: 62 paid, 3 new members, 1 member leaving

6. HANDICAP CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

Most improved member is Tim Baldwin.

7. WEBMASTER REPORT

IRL paid through 2011.

8. NEWSLETTER EDITOR REPORT

Newsletter articles already received for next issue.

III. NEW BUSINESS

10 year prizes and budget - $1,800 total for both.

Tournament late fees - motion failed.

Guest Flight - motion passed: "modified Callaway" – maximum 36.4/men, 40.4/women.

2002 Budget – motion failed; will be reworked for next meeting.
